A workshop designed to prepare less experienced photographers for the dangers they may face in hostile environments including war zones. The weeklong course teaches everything from Battle Field First Aid Drills, IED and Mines awareness through to editing and filing on the move as well as ethical behavior, report building and self-sufficiency in the field. The instructors are a mix of photojournalists and military personal with more than 40 years front line experience. Mixing group discussions, lectures, practical demonstrations, and realistic scenarios, the student’s progress rapidly from a theoretical learning environment to a full on simulated conflict zone.
